Air Conditioner Compressor and Clutch
The Compressor is the auto part that circulates and compresses the refrigerant liquid, it can be regarded as the heart of the air conditioner system as it pumps the refrigerant gas liquid through all the piping. To see if the Compressor is working, start the car and have a look under the bonnet for something that looks like a pump, it has a few hoses and pipes and it is driven by a belt, you can see the below items to give you a better idea of what a compressor looks like. Some times the compressor gets jammed and seizes, this can cause squeeling and other random noises, it would be a good idea to replace the belt if you are changing the compressor.
